What would you pay for game used 2006-07 Tavares Jersey.
And what do you think it would be worth if he lives up to expectations.

Is it authenticated by an actual sports merchandise authority to be legit? If so it could be worth a lot!

I think he plays a lazy game. The game in Oshawa, which I saw in person, he was very lackadaisical on defense but once the puck left his defensive zone he decided to skate hard. I will admit he has great vision and good hands. I just dont like the way he plays the game.
I never really have liked prima dona type players.

just be care full what kinda of authentic jersey it is as sometimes just the numbers on the back are signed and then sewen on the jersey...making the numbers authentic not the whole jersey....

I definitely agree with you, especially after watching the Canada/Russia game tonight. Steven Stamkos can be the last one in the zone and the first one back on defense. If that is Tavares he barely crosses centre ice. I respect his offensive ability but I would definitely want a player like Stamkos on my team first. That kid is unreal.

I agree with WDF and IGT.
I am also skeptical of "game used" and "authentic" stuff.
The only way I'd pony up serious money for stuff like that is if I see in person the item being signed by the player.

I have also seen many people get scammed by these "game worn jerseys" unless its like one of those giveaways by a team at the end of a season and I physically see it then I wouldn't even bother. It's impossible to tell by a picture on the internet.

its pretty easy to busy a jersey and and "sign" it... no one would know if its real or not... unless its comes with a certificate of authenticity....

Go here can't get more authentic than from the team.
2 days to go right now at $2700 bones can see this going well over $3500.
I have a lot of game used jerseys the authenticity never even crossed my mind considering they came from the players themselves.
Also if you have the right connections you can order the same jersey that the player wears and depending they will wear it for a game or 2.
Comes down to it how bad does someone want a game jersey.

Still on the other jerseys there are some good deals to be had.
Still waiting for the Ice dogs auction.
Speaking of which is any of our members web savy they seem to be having a problem setting things up such as online store and the auction.
Im sure that with the right person they could grab a few season tickets for pitching in.
That way I could add to my collection.
