I got to talk with Niagara Ice Dogs owner Bill Burke today about the 07/08 TV schedule - all of the home games should be broadcast on local cable TV (Cogeco, Ch.10) and roughly 10 or 11 away games should be broadcast on digital cable's "Super Sports Package" which if I remember correctly from last year when I ordered it, is $24.95/month with a minimum of a 6 month contract. Before you used to be able to order JUST the sports packages you wanted (NHL, NCAA, Nascar, MLB, etc...) but starting a couple years back, Rogers (who runs the SuperSports Package) now makes you buy the entire package (which I hate because I couldn't care less about college basketball, Nascar, etc).

I was told by Jon (public relations / ticket sales) at the Icedogs office that there will be a lot more merchadise going on sale before the season begins. I'm looking forward to purchasing everything they have for sale so I'm anxiously awaiting...
