I have been following this story all day. It appears one player (not sure which) has a broken leg/ankle and was in surgery this afternoon. The other player may have a broken jaw.
I wish the two players (and the asst. trainer) well and hope they recover soon.
Goes to show how precious life truly is.

Very, very true. Do you know how it happened? Were the players "jaywalking" or was it the driver's fault?

Yes the players were jay walking across a VERY busy 4 lane road. Actually read in a Windsor paper's report on line that all the individuals were ticketed for jay walking.

Not very smart thing to do, but saying that I tend to jaywalk myself... so I can't really say much. Let's hope these guys are ok.
