Not a chance, Loverock played great tonight.

I agree with Rio, Loverock wasnt the problem tonight. I thought he was pretty solid in net.

I thought Loverock played well and I expect him to get the start was just seeing what everyone else thought. Also, considering we only have 2 games this weekend leads me to believe he will be starting as well, if it wasn't already apparent.

I really don't think we can fault him for most of the goals, the third was a awful turnover.

Agreed...this loss wasn't Loverock's fault.

I say yes - start Volpe, only because I want to see more of what the guy can do.

An yes, Lrock was solid tonight. Even with the 3 goals allowed, on over 30 shots that's still over a .900 save percentage. (I swear I'm going to get the leagues to sometime finally CHANGE that "save percentage" to an ACTUAL percentage so we ca use 90% instead of .900%) If a goalie was ever actually stopping only .900 out of 100% of the shots, that would be pretty sad. That would be making just below 1 save per 100 shots :) Ok this rant is done for the time being.

I say Loverock. Volpe played well the only time I seen him but Andrew is the better of the two and the only time that I think Volpe should play is when the Dogs play on two consecutive days. Playing the same guy two days in a row would be tiring.

I believe that Volpe has played well enough to earn the start on Sunday. He stepped up for a win which stopped the IceDog's losing streak. He has fast feet and moved around the net well. Also he didn't give up the large rebounds that has plagued Loverock this year.

He has 2 wins in his first two starts in the OHL. Stopped 40 of 42 shots to earn him 2nd star in his first game and stopped 32 of 35 shots the second game, according to the game summery.

For those of you writing that we need another goalie, wait and watch as Volpe earns his spot in the OHL. I believe that equal playing time should be given to the two goalies and eventually Volpe will earn the top goaltending spot, just in time for Lobsinger to return.

My vote goes to Adrian Volpe to play on Sunday

Loverock is our main guy. Play Volpe in one of the back to backs this week.

Agreed 100%.

But also instead of changing the goaltender to try and get the team back to its winning ways, the team should concentrate more on staying out of the damn box.

I would think that Volpe will either start Friday night at home vs Barrie or at Belleville on Saturday.
