Uuuh....biggest ever would have to beat the Calgary 25,000+ bears. That may be a bit of a stretch with the size of our arena.

We'd still probably need close to 3 per person. Kitchener comes close to 6,000 every year, I'm not sure what London tops out at.

We had our teddy bear toss in London was great little 5'5 Daniel Erlich scored his first OHL goal and it made the 5,886 bears fly onto the ice he was jumping all over the place it was amazing only taped it with my phone unfortunately.

Did anyone hear or see anything at the game tonight promoting the toss on Friday? I fear that the website is the only way that they've communicated to fans, and most won't be checking the website before the game.

Let's hope that Thursday's game sees many announcements, as well as maybe something on the radio or in the paper this week. Even if a columnist mentioned it, that would help.

They should get a dozen different big boxes of small bears and sell 'em at the game right at the front entrance for people that don't hear about it beforehand.

It'll be embarassing after seeing other rinks bear tossing, then it comes our turn and we get like 8 bears thrown on to the ice.
