Colbert was a boon to the OHL and the Spirit last year. I don't seem to recall and more Sport Report this year on the show, and the writer's strike has probably killed any momentum from this season. Still, it got a whole lot more people, especially in the Michigan area, excited about the team and the league. Saginaw set a record merchandise year last year, with jersey orders coming from all over the world.
