Nope. Professional hockey isn't something anyone can do as a job for life (well, maybe Chelios) so you've got to make as much as you can as quick as you can. Some players are smart and invest it from day one. Other players don't and are working as used car salesmen after they retire from hockey...

Of course, Crosby will be set for good after his first contract, so that's nothing he has to be worried about :)
