Yah I'm watching the Kingston/Oshawa game right now and they just mentioned that.

But 6-8 weeks for a JAW !? Don't they usually come back after a couple weeks with one of those big GWAR helmets? :)

what does GWAR stand for? I know you are talking about the full face helmet...

Yes some do come back earlier then that, but they arent soft like Niki is. Was hoping Swifty was going to do that to him next time they meet lol I am joking (kind of).

I feel bad for the kid. Even though the kid plays on the wrong team he is certainly exciting to watch. I hope that he gets well soon. A broken jaw has to a drag to live with.:ack2:

Apparently, Sladok from Plymouth was taking runs at a lot of the Sting players last Friday night. When nobody from Sarnia stood up to him he decided to take a run at Nikiforov. Can anyone say elbow to the head? Apparently it was a viscious hit. The game sheet only show Sladok getting an offsetting roughing penalty so I dont know if the ref's missed it or what.

From what I have read, nobody, including the refs saw it. They had to look at the tv replay a couple of times to see it. I am sure Sarnia will exact some revenge next time the two teams play.
