Putting in the ice @ the Jack - Aug.23, 2007

I went down to Jack Gatecliff today to see how they were coming along and they were JUST starting to put in the ice as I arrived. A guy was walking around the surface with a hose putting out a fine mist on the cement. Next door at Rex Stimers someone was driving the small machine around laying down a thicker layer on that rink's surface. The last photo is where my seats will be.

good looking pics.... no pic of the dressing room?? we tried to sneak back there but they were jackhammering at the time so they wouldn't let us in... the nerve LOL

Nah, no dressing room shots. Maybe before training camp if I'm lucky. But yah, there were doing a bunch of work down below so I didn't even venture down there. Actually I haven't even been in the hallways down in the bowels below since the days of the St. Catharines Saints !! I remember them being jam packed with cigarette smoke when I was younger. :P
