Would you be willing to move from your regular seat location to sit with other members of this forum, and create the icedogfans.com superfan section?

If not, convince us why we should all migrate to your supersection.

Sorry we love our seats (section D). not only is there a great view of the ice, but most nights we can hear the coaching going on (yes there is coaching) and can hear the guys has them come off the ice.

My seats are also in D, further away from the bench than WDF, and closer to where the dogs shoot twice. You see the dogs score 2 out of 3 periods. They're on the home team's side, with a good view of their bench, and I enjoy my fellow season ticket holders around me; have really met some good folks.

I'm in section D as well, and I my kids love having quick access to the players as they come on and off the ice.

I have great view and great fans around me.

No Worries WDF that does include you

Yah section F looks pretty loud. Although 99% of that noise comes from like 3 people (fishfan, swifty14, and friend) Nothing beats that horn of swifty14's.

I sit in section B, I'd be open to moving sections...however I'm not willing to do it if it means only two or three other people are moving.

I probably will move from the ends to the sides for the playoffs.

I wish I could switch, but working SEC J, is nice as well! But by working the game can really only make noise at away games. It seems that D would be the best Sec or Sec J because you can really ride the away team!!

Section A...watch the crazies at work in the stands and be able to sit on top of the nets.

Section F is deffinately not the loudest. The horn is awsome but I dont think anywhere else even comes close to the group we are starting to amass in section N. and no one boos louder than I do . lol . Its probably a good thing to have pockets of loud fans spread out throughout the arena. Maybee we can infect some other fans so they become rabid aswell.

Can't agree with you there. Love my Season seats in Sec A but im moving my seats for playoffs over to sec N. Theres a few of us over there that get that place rockin. We got all of the Go Dogs Go chants going during the Sarnia game and were on the other team ALL game. We go over and heckle the other team right by there entrance. Theres even a photo on an icedogs facebook with all of us labeled "Best fans in the jack":001_tongue:. I agree with others though I hope all of can soon be saying that EVERY section in the Jack is loud.

Section N rocks! Let's include the little girl in Sec M who cheers so enthusiatically as an 'honorary" Sec.N member. GO DOGS!

What'supdog and I and our families sit in section O with player's parents and billets. It tends to be quiet over there because everyone seems a little nervous for their kids. No one wants their kid to make a mistake. lol. At the beginning of the season Mrs. Bergeron was the loudest cheerleader in the section, but she has been quiet too as of late. Way to go Mrs. Bergeron. Be loud and proud.:hurray:

That seems to be the only drawback of Sec N is the view isn't really all that great. I am willing to give that up with a compensation of a great atmosphere.

Back in the early 90's section A was the place to be at a Thunder game. We had (hands down) the loudest/craziest fans, and the best view of the Ice surface. Not to mention sitting behind the visiting goalie twice. Oh and the seasons are a little cheaper too so thats a little bit of a bonus aswell. Every goalie who came to the memorial was taunted relentlessley untill he acknowledged us. Good times

Rio: you getting the same seats? Move to center ice with me and TQO ! GREAT vantage point, OPEN lane straight to the visiting players with no glass between you!

I'd get season tickets next year if I knew who I was sitting around. Maybe we could get you/Madmann/Casey/Rob (do I know rob?) all in there :D

That's why I chose them. Already planning to renew the pair in the same location for next year.

I do remember a lot of taunting in behind the nets there back in the day at the thunder games....wish I could remember, seemed to be one goalie who got rode REALLY hard, compared to the others...hmmmmm he was drafted by an NHL team, but was a bust......who the heck was it........can't remember.
:hurray:

I think it was Jamie Storr? He was with Owen Sound...a 1st rounder (7th overall)...could be wrong though.

Well Robs alias is robertdicks, he's easy to figure out much like myself. I wouldn't mind getting seats with you next year, like I said I am not too picky about where I sit as much as who I sit with.

Well TheQuietOne (really nice guy) sits right in front of me (L/G/17), so he's in like L/F/17-18 or something. I'm pretty sure L/G/16 is open, and possibly L/G/18.

You should ask Rio if he wants to come down to center ice :D I thought I recall him saying he wasn't sure if he was going to get the same seats next year.

I might just flex-pack the year next year anyway... that way I can leave job opportunities more flexible too :D (right now I will NOT take a job that requires afternoon shift, hehe) I'll probably decide over the next couple weeks.

Well we have a little while before we really need to figure out where we are sitting next year right? We'll figure it out I am sure. If we dont all sit together, the upside is we will be spread out for more yelling arena coverage. Hopefully next year it spreads

If you don't put the new locations for season tickets soon, you might not be able to get together. If they are going from 1200 (whatever the number is) to 2000, that only really leaves about 1000 open seats acroos the arena, 2 to 4 seat sections maybe hard to find.

Yah if they hit their target, the middle sections will be pretty much all taken.

I think it may have been Jamie Storr too.
I still remember the fans in Niagara Falls giving it to John Tanner of the London Knights. TAAAANNNERR.
...by far that was one of the worst sections in the OHL behind the net in the Falls. I remember one playoff round when the fans were hanging donuts over the glass and chanting Porky when Mike Torchia was in net for Kitchener. He was a great goalie but a little chubby and the fans let him know!
Nice to see things getting louder at the Jack these days too!
