Brian McGratton recently left another game after fighting Riley Cote due to shoulder injury. He has missed alot of time do to this. Could this be the end of his career as an enforcer, because we all know he can't play hockey. Or is just the end of his season, either way what will the Sens do for a tough guy, will they call someone up or depend on Chris Neil to take care of business. I've also heard rumours that they might try and trade for our Wade Belak:sad2:

They'll never trade Belak for McGrattan. There's absolutely no point to it. Belak can play hockey, McGrattans' terrible. But both players have only one job and they're both about the same at it, so there's no reason to make a trade.

I dont think they would try to trade McGrattan for Belak straight up. I would imagine that there would be some sort of package involved, draft pick or a player or a player and a draft pick. and right now if you are the Leafs, the more draft picks you have the better.

They wouldn't make the trade at all. What would either team get out of it? It's like trading somebody your Molson Canadian for their Molson Canadian. What's the point? And Belaks a fan favorite, and I'm sure McGrat is in Ott, so there's absolutely no reason to make the trade, and plenty of reasons not to.
I'm not even sure why we're talking about it :20:

WellandDogsFan is right thought, McGratton would not come to the Leafs, it would be a package trade. But anyways, do you guys think that Belak will get resigned this year, or do you think they will let him go?

Every team needs at least one tough guy to be on the ice in certain situations. Belak will resign.

I hope he does, I just bought that jersey lol.
Back to topic though, McGratton could be out for a good amount of time again. I heard that on one of the sports shows, can't remember which one.
