He sposored the name of the place thats all.
He does it out of commitment to the community and is asked by every group for some sort of donation or partnership.
I think he has done more than enough for everyone.:iagree:
Other than that it has been talked about and talked about.
To late in the process right now as they already have a design in place.
To redo it this late in the game would cost 1 million or more.
The Next arena will have to come from the private sector sort of a consortium of people.
Maybe then He will partner up, but unless it's a good deal for everyone no one will throw money away.
Anyways you won't get far trying to contact him.
Why don't you call casino Niagara they have lots of money.

That's why we need to write to our local municiple aldermen and city councillors! They throw money away all the time! They're GOOD at it!! :hurray: Isn't the 4-pad in west St. Kitts basically sitting empty most of the time?
Of course if the city ever got involved, it would take 10X as long and cost 10X as much, because we've all seen how hard and fast city workers work.
But if someone could get the snail-mail addresses of people who are in charge of municiple budgets, and get people on here writing to them a couple times a year stating how badly a new arena is wanted and needed, it couldn't hurt

OOOooh ok. That's good to hear! I thought someone posted awhile back that it was not even in use half the time. Well that's good. More people playing peewee hockey will turn into more fans of OHL hockey so that's always good :)
And what's wrong with Haig Bowl!? :) I played a LOT of my Kiwanis and Legion games there, hehe. Although I think Bill Burgoying was my fave.

maybe the big business people in the region can step up and donate to the minor hockey leagues in the region... I know i know...they do....but do they really....i have first hand info how the " donations" work.... by no means am I knocking the people that have donated to support teams... but I know for a fact that more can/should be done. Businesses should not be bled dry to support things... it's the parents choice to put their kids in hockey and soccer etc...if you cant afford it then dont sign them up...but when an organization depends on community partners to help support them more could be done. ok rant over...LOL...and just for the record... i FULLY support all our sponcors....and advocate that all parents do the same....
