Take a look at these, this is during the play today Kingston at Plymouth 3 Feb 08, there sure isn't a lot of people at the game, attendance as per the OHL site is 2578.
That would be tickets sold but 2000 didn't show up or nobody told them there was a hockey game on, or probably partying it up for superbowl

We get more people showing up to watch our guys PRACTICE. :p

If there's any debate left on how they count attendance in the OHL, this should put it to rest. WOW!

Yeah attandance should be the amount of ripped tickets. If you buy a ticket and didnt show up then you didnt ATTEND. The only people there were probably friends parents and people who just forgot about the super bowl.

Actually I like that idea. Attendance means you have to attend. Having a season ticket to game and not attending the game should NOT count towards attendance. Towards tickets sold, yes... but that's a separate figure. They should stop announcing it incorrectly and say something like "The Number of tickets sold to tonight's game is: "
