The St. Catharines Junior Falcons head into the midget AAA playoffs on an undefeated streak, with two wins and a tie in its season-ending games.
The Falcons upset the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-1 with two goals by Andrew Richard and a single by Riley Jakobschuk.
They then tied the Niagara Falls Thunder 2-2. Brendan Gratton was steady in the net and Dillon Parnell and Matt Bodo chipped in goals. Kenny Bradford netted two goals in a 6-2 win over the Welland Tigers, with singles by Bodo, Parnell, Richard and Kamil Oubayan.
Ryley Bellows played well in goal, shutting down several Tigers scoring attempts.
