he Niagara IceDogs would like to announce that they have officially signed an affiliation agreement with the St. Catharines Falcons of the Golden Horseshoe Jr. B Hockey League. Both teams will be playing out of the Jack Gatecliff Arena in St. Catharines for the upcoming 2007-08 season.
“We are happy to be able to come together on this agreement with the Falcons” said IceDogs General Manager Dave Brown. “Based upon the fact we are already sharing a rink for the upcoming season, this seemed like a natural fit. We will now be able to work together to help ensure that both organizations will continue to be successful this season and beyond.”
“Bill Burke and Dave Brown are both quality guys and have been very comforting to work with since arriving in town” said Dave Cole, Falcons General Manager and Head Coach. “This agreement is based upon working together and supporting each other in our endeavours on the ice and throughout the community.”
The IceDogs will be hosting three home exhibition games at Jack Gatecliff Arena on September 6th, 9th and 13th. Tickets are currently available by visiting their office at 35 Queen Street in St. Catharines or calling (905) 687 DOG1 (3641).
