Has anyone received their playoff tickets yet?

I went down to the office a few weeks ago, handed in my form, the guy there checked and my selected seat was indeed available. My credit card # was on the sheet, but I haven't notice the charge go through yet, and I think he said I'd be contacted soon by phone, but no word as of yet. Just getting nervous as 5 days left in the season. :eek:

My credit card was charged pretty much immediately after I handed in my form.

I also selected the round-by-round option. Ive heard that those might be available for pickup during the final two games.

same here. paid the bill, haven't got the tickets yet. can't wait for the playoffs though

I asked Jon at the Oshawa game, he said the tickets should be ready this weekend. I havn't heard anything yet either.

We saw a charge on our card a few weeks ago. No, we havent received the tix yet, but I can understand that as we do not know the opponent or the dates of the first round series as of yet. I would advise you to give Jon a call at the office AD.

Oooh I thought the dates were set in concrete no matter who we were playing. :confused: Me clueless.

Yah, as far as I can tell, my card hasn't even been charged!! I'll give Jon an email to see if he know's what's up. I don't want to sound anxious, but I am :)

Unofficially, we will host our first playoff game on the 20th, but nothing has been announced as of yet.

Jon said on Sunday that hes hoping they come in for Wed to hand them out on Thursday.

After the ordeal with the printers the first time, Im not counting on it, but as long as the tickets are in by Sunday it should be all good.

I purchased for the whole playoffs, and credit card was charged a while back. I did notice a credit of $64 the other day. I got my seat plus an extra. I'm not sure what the credit was for. I'm assuming it's probably because we are 4th and if we make it out of the 1st round we only get 3 home games instead of 4. My only question to that is what if there are upsets? Won't they reseed?

Right now we can still catch brampton so we dont know when the games will be and if we will have home ice advantage In a 7 game series that could be three home games

It doesn't matter about dates or what the opponent is....all they have to do is print tickets that say.... HOME PLAYOFF GAME #1 etc.

I am surprised that playoff tickets aren't on sale to the general public yet. There is less then two weeks until the playoffs.

I can remember the 2003 playoff run in Kitchener. They didnt realease tickets to the public til a day or two before the games then on game days they would release tickets not purchased by season ticket holders. I stood in line for over two hours to get two tickets to the OHL title clincher vs ottawa. And yes, that was the year they won the Mem Cup.

Missed opportunity then...if you have 3000 people at the rink on the 16th, why not have them on sale right there and then at the box office. Why wait for them to leave and say "Hey come back tomorrow and buy your tickets on the 17th" just plain silly IMO.

its all about marketing and building the hype...
"Hey why are there 200 people lined up outside the dogs office...lets go check it out...":thumbup:

i suspect that there will be a considerable rush. i also suspect that current seasons holders and those who bought seasons for next year have scooped up most, or at least a considerable amount, of the tickets

Not a guarantee. Most, if not all cities across this league see a considerable attendance drop during the first round.

Reason: no group sales.

Ottawa's attendance drops by close to 40%. Some other cities are not so drastic, but most see a hit. It climbs back up again during the 2nd round.

there are group sale for the march 20th game...:thumbup:

I hate group sales as most of them end up in section O and you have kids running up and down the aisle during the play, parents taking them to the snack bar in the middle of the period. Stand up, sit down , stand up to let them back in.

group sale make up alot of the sell outs we see...the kids are the up and coming fans...most go to section A also...but yea I see your point... can get really old really quick if your up 47 times in one period...

I talked to Jon about an hour ago - for some reason my card didn't go through (definitely not because lack of credit believe me) so he tried again today AND IT WORKED! He said they wouldnt' have given my seat up that easily anyway. WH00TT!

So I'll be in my L/G/17 all post-season - ALL 4 ROUNDS OF IT!! :hurray:
