View Full Version : Drums for the playoffs
Absolutely loved the drum on tv. We need more of those for playoffs. By far, the best noisemaker so far. Seemed to draw the crowd into it too. Great job RB!

Anyone know where we can get some loud DEEP BASS drums? We need to get like *20* people with them all pounding in unison throughout the playoffs! We won't need the video screens anymore! We could keep it going ALL GAME LONG by ourselves! THey'd have to be semi-portable too though so as not to take up too much room. Actually, to get a deep bass you need a big one, so that wont' really work. Unless we can get a row of enthusiasts along the top lobby part beating away :D
I'd *really* love to get something that people will look back on for a long time though for these playoffs. Something when other teams are showing the broadcast the announcers are like "oh yes... the beat of the Niagara drums can be heard already..." before the game starts.

The drum will be a regular thing:) We all started on Subban for the reasons WDF stated above. I feel sorry for anyone sitting around me with the drum as it was driving some people nuts(I don't care in the least bit). 3rd period was absolutely horrifying. Im glad the crowd enjoyed the drum. and go dogs go:).

Madmann and company, Like I said somewhere else, I sat in Sect G last night, not the usual D. From my vantage point, I could not hear the drum, and I knew you had it! :sad2: Maybe I'm deaf, but nobody else around me made note of it, so I don't think they heard it either!
You'll just have to be louder on Sunday! Sorry for the people around you (their eardrums specifically).

ahahaha I love Rio having that drum. It made all the chants so much easier. MadMann was rocking that cowbell too!

I was sitting in Section B and could hear the drum, although it could be a little louder.
I think the main thing was that the drum was able to help start/maintain 'go dogs go' chants, while play was on.
Kudos to MM and RB

Yes but WE NEED *MORE* DRUMS. At least one in each corner. I could here you guys getting the chant going but it seemed to be more just down that corner (a large section of it, but the corner nonetheless).
If we could get a dedicated drummer in each of the corners going in UNISON (not all out of sync) that would be *great* for the playoffs.
I'm sure TheQuietOne (don't let the name fool you) wouldn't mind drumming up the sections around L. :)

I'm going to move all posts on the drums into this thread...
I was looking for a drum or a real cowbell for playoffs but alas it looks like Ive been beaten to the punch.
Good job last night though, I could hear it, but I agree if we can nail it in all 4 corners it'd be awesome.
Ive been watching kijiji but only have come across complete drum kits so far.

There is no beaten to the punch. The more the marrier. I ould love to see a dozen drums and a couple hundred cow bells. If 10% of the crowd had noise makers that would be insane!! Could you imagine a dozen drums!!
