Doesn't mean anything, however seeing the 'Dogs in the top 10 is pretty cool.

1. London Knights (OHL)
2. Everett Silvertips (WHL)
3. Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL)
4. Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL)
5. Prince Edward Island Rocket (QMJHL)

Just look at Michigan to see how meaningless preseason rankings are! But having said that, its very nice to see our Dogs in the top 10.

And putting us 2nd in the OHL is damn good!!!! Now I'm not as disheartened after last night's loss!

Everett Silvertips. A team that joined in 2003-04 and in their 4 years have won their division 3 times.
It would be great if the IceDogs can duplicate that feat. It will always be tough to win it all in the OHL when you have to compete against the rich and powerful (aka...London). Is that team ever in a rebuilding year?

I'm not at all concerned about last nights loss to Erie. A lot of players we saw won't be on the team this year. I liked the size of #28 on D (Gilbert, I think) but he seemed to have a helluva time handling the puck. Of course, the ice was real bad because of the heat in there. Almost felt like a lacrosse game in there (almost). WHEW!

Last night didn't show us the team at all. We were missing pretty much every star.
