Four SCMHA Players Selected To Move On To The Provincial Under 17 Camp
2008-05-01

Four St. Catharines Jr. Falcons players have been selected to move on to the Provincial Under 17 camp.

Fourteen of the seventeen players from the SCMHA Minor Midget AAA team recently attended the Regional Under 17 Training Camp in April, which is the first stage in selecting the team that will represent Canada at the 2008 World Jr. Hockey Challenge.

The OMHA, the Alliance, the GTHL, and the Northern Ontario Hockey Association all hold regional evaluation camps which will eventually lead to a Ontario Under 17 team.

Four of the St. Catharines players have been selected to move on to the provincial camp, along with one alternate.

Chris Langdon (alternate)

The OMHA Under 17 Provincial Camp will be held at the University of Guelph, May 9-11, 2008. The best 16-year old hockey players will be attending the camp this year with the goal of becoming a member of the Ontario Under 17 Team that will represent the province at the 2008 Under 17 World Hockey Challenge.

Congratulations to our players ... it's a great showing from the St.
Catharines Jr. Falcons Minor Midget team!!
