i just got my new iMac so i used iMovie to make this... i figured we had a bunch of highlight videos already so i made this one targeted towards the fans... hope you like it

in order of appearance it was Michael Swift, Cheech and Dahm. They all had interviews on CHSC so i thought it would be cool to put them in it

yeah i like the computer so far... i would have liked to do more with the video clips but iMovie is limited in editing (it can still do a lot I just wanted to do more creative things rather than just cut and paste)

So when there's a 2-on-1 going down the ice, by your philosophy it should be called a 2-on-2 since the goalies there at the end, right? A 5-on-4 powerplay is actually a 6-on-5 since the goalies count, right?

We've debated this issue a dozen times over and decided "the 6th man" was the best description.

Anyone who says 7th man should ALSO say it's a 6-on-5 powerplay when one team's down by a man, or a 6-on-4 powerplay when down 2 men, and should call a 2-on-1 rush a 2-on-2. If they don't also do things like that, THEY'RE BEING HYPOCRITICAL AND HAVE NO RIGHT SAYING THE FANS ARE THE 7TH MAN! :p

And any time I've even heard NHL announcers call a crazy crowd being a 'man' on the ice, it's been the 6th man out there.

I think this is a point we're going to have to explain repeatedly over the next decade... :(

MEN ON THE ICE are referred to as SKATERS on the ice. Like when you have too many men they usually say "hey! they've got 6 guys out there!" Of COURSE all teams usually have 6 guys out there IF you count the goalie. But the goalie isn't counted as a 'skater', so the '6th man' is the one added to the # of skaters.

I think I'm going to have to cut just the explaination part of this msg an make it into a new msg, and make it a permanent sticky msg.
