We Need To Get LOUD!

One thing I was pretty disappointed with last game was the fact that us Icedog fans were not loud enough! There were a few spurts at the start of the game where it sounded like an empty building. It got great as the game went on but we need some "Go Dogs Go!" chants going. We need to get loud right off the bat and give this team some support. We have the chance to make this one of the loudest and most intimidating arenas in the OHL. So lets get on it!

Especially in the last few minutes, it was tied 6-6, we were giong on the power play with a chance to win it. Would have been PERFECT timing to pump up the team.

i think the fans will respond if the annoucer gets the crowd going...
they should have a cheer compition by section... like they do at leaf games... get a decible meter in there...and set some records...

Yeah the cheer section is a good idea. Maybe even get a Go Dogs Go chant going. The announcers getting it off the ground works very well.

At the game yesterday all the kids got those clappers....great at making noise... but after 1/2 hr of my kid "clapping" the damn thing in my ear.... well I almost made him eat it...LOL... no not really...but I though about launching it over the glass a few times.

Yep, I was in a group of 2-7 yr olds last game (about 6 of 'em) and those clappers were killin me.

I say they hand out air horns to everyone at the doors :p

Hahah, well I think they're just trying to get rid of them - did you notice the web site on the clapper? It's last year's merchandise :) As are their jerseys - we got IceDog jerseys before the team did!! :D I'm looking forward to seeing them in Niagara jerseys.

I got one of those clappers back when the office first opened...Same with they keychains they threw out last game. it said "get into hockey"
