Well just got back from the game...
6-6 tie.... thought we could have won it....but with some sloppy plays and poor defence...we had no chance.

Over all it was a great game... lots of fans... but at the begining it almost seemed people needed a reminder that there was an OHL team in the arena... fans need to get L O U D....and sing the anthem too...it was sooo quiet during the O Canada I couldnt belive it. Things picked up when we started scoring.

The icedogs are screwed if Loverock doesn't get back by the 21st because all our other goalies are not OHL caliber.

yea I agree ... those two tenders they have are freakin terrible...They do not have the skills to play JR A hockey at all.

I dont know which one is worse... i have yet to see them make a brilliant save..

I fully agree. As much as I know it's not because of lack of effort - the guys were trying - but the skill just isn't there with them yet. Hopefully that's NOT the situations with the other 2 teams we've played. HOPEFULLY those ARE the goalies we'll be seeing from them this year, because we sure can score against 'em! :) 15 goals in the first 3 games sure ain't bad, and that's WITHOUT a lof of our best players! I think we'll have a fine team this season.

Firstly this is not Jr A but "MAJOR JUNIOR", quite a difference. Secondly do you know that the players read this board. So in the spirit of being good fans I think it would be wise in supporting the players and team.

I don't think Volpe & Sniderman are any worse than the goaltenders from the other teams, all three exhibition games have been close games, and goaltenders don't make up the entire team.

if you have a good defence... then its so much easier on the goalie...sure they can stop shots... but lessen them with good smart defence... and today... that was lacking

One guy that really impressed me today was Alex Friesen...He has some wheels.
