View Full Version : Should the Maple Leaf section of this site be renamed to "NHL Talk" in general?

We did a poll awhile back when the site first opened, whether or not IceDog fans here were also Leaf fans, and I believe it was something like 70% yes, which is the reason there's also Leaf forums here.

But not everyone who's an NHL fan, is a Leaf fan (shame on them). So, in order not to alienate the non-Leaf NHL fans, should the Leaf section of these forums be renamed to a more generalized "NHL Talk" type title?

Yah... I think everyone already knows that Habs fans are wannabe Leaf fans but are hesitant about switching over to such a superior team due to the fact that they are not ready for that level of excitement and happiness in their lives. You MUST have voted for an all-Leaf forum. :9:

Happiness of a Leafs fan? The biggest difference between Montreal and Toronto is that Montreal fans can watch video of their team winning the Stanley Cup in colour.

With video technology these days, so can Toronto fans

Colour TV is just a fad anyway....

Ok, as you may have seen, the "Leaf Forums" have now been renamed to NHL forums, and a couple of them have been consolidated into 1. So now all NHL-team-player talk is welcome. (and WHO says I never listen to what people want...) :P
