Does anyone know why the Whalers dressed only one goalie tonights? I went to their website and didnt see anything.

I thought they switched goalies in the 2nd? There's only 1 on the roster sheet but I thought I saw them put in a 2nd during the 2nd period.

No, the Dogs were the only team to change goalies last night. I was watching because during pregame warmups there was only one goalie on the ice for the Whalers and that, along with only one listed on the roster sheet, struck me as odd.....

I know that both of the Whalers' goalies from last year have been drafted to the NHL.

Michael Neuvirth (2006 - 34th overall) was drafted by Washington, and Jeremy Smith (2007 - 54th overall) by Nashville, so they both were away at NHL camps, however, doesn't explain why they would not have carried a backup for the trip, kind of stupid.
