At first I was not very impressed when I heard the Leafs picked up Ryan Hollweg. But as I have watched him in the preseason so far, I'm really starting to like this guy.

The guy has fought in every game he has played so far, AND he has more fights than he does games played this year already. There is a downside to that too, and that is that he seems to loose every fight he gets into. If the Leafs are going to loose alot this year, I want to see more Hollweg, make things interesting, as it did at the end of the last game in St. Louis.

What do you guys think of Hollweg? Let's hear what you got to say.

Also, do you think the Leafs should obtain a heavyweight fighter, or just let Bell, Mayers and Hollweg do all the fighting. (even though some guys in the NHL would destroy them)?

They've got 3 middleweights with Bell, Mayers, Hollweg. Almost had 5 but Newbury and Ondrus got sent down. They need ONE (or two) *heavyweights* if they're going to make this season exciting. Losing the majority of the games this season AND getting beat up in the process won't cut it. If they're going to stick with a young team and 'rebuild', they better at least pound some skulls along the way :11:

Now if they signed Boogaard in the off season, I'd be content ;)

I'm hearing lots of speculation that Fletcher is shopping for heavyweight. Although there is not really much out there. Unless he trades for one.
