I've got him crossed out on the original roster I printed out in the summer. So he must have been traded, although I don't have written down where to.

they sent him to Hamilton tier 2 to rehab his knee or something. He has played 3 games and scored once with them.

Excuse my ignorance, is that similar to what they do in baseball? Send somebody down to the minors to rehab an injury then recall him to the big club?

Yes,

They run the OHL just like the big leagues. Remember a junior player cannot reach any higher than the Canadian Hockey League.
