i agree...the prices are not that bad for the quality of hockey we will see...

BTW beer at leafs games is upto $12... which is CRAP...LOL

WOWW!! That must be set by the company running the concessions. Because with the amount of $ MLSE is raping people for tickets, there's no way even THEY could be so greedy to charge an arm and a leg (and a head and torso) for beer. IT's got to be a privately run business in charge of the alcohol sales.

Heck, the Leafs could have free admission and still run a more than successful franchise based on merchandise income alone. (I read awhile back somewhere that they bring in far more $ in merchandise than ticket sales). Even me, I've only been to about 4 games in the last decade, and I've easily spent over a grand on merchandise in that time.

12 bucks a beer....

Maybe, but then again - it's smart thinking business wise. It keeps all the bums at the games from getting drunk and rowdy. The ony people that could afford enough 12 dollar beers to get drunk from aren't the type of people that would getting drunk and rowdy anyway.

Charge 12 bucks might just be their way of keeping alcohol consumption to a minimum. Because they surely don't need the extra cash to survive.

case of beer... on a bar order is 26.95 for a 24... imagine the profit...

Or conversely... charging 12 bucks maximizes their profits and bleeds the consumers dry.

that's what its all about... bleed us dry.... but we keep comming...
Like i said before... I dont mind paying ... have no issue with it... but i want something for my money...like a semi good hockey game at least....

A lot of people believe that as long as the leafs are succesful off the ice, they wont be too concerned with putting quality product on the ice....

sure am...why... cause i bought some at the last game i was at....

went to a concert there too... and the same thing 12 for a beer...they call it a large... and a small... little bigger than a coffee... is i think 9.50.
