Parking Question

I'm coming in from out of town for Friday's game. I know parking can sometimes be a problem. Any suggestions on where to park? Keep in mind that I will be with my kid and hopefully have a bag full of IceDog souvenirs with me. We don't mind walking, so safety is the biggest issue. How about the low level lot? Carlisle Street Garage? Garden Park Lot? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

In past forum postings, people have been very positive about parking in the lower lot. They have said that it is a 5-7 min walk to the rink from there. In Terms of safety, I wouldnt have any qualms about parking there.

Yah if safety is a concern I would go to the lower-level lot. Stay away from the neighborhood streets in behind the arena. If you get their early, you can park right NEXT to the arena (right on Geneva St) in a plaza lot for 5 bucks. Enjoy the game! (where abouts you coming in from?)

I have parked in the lower level lot, and it was a 5-7 minute walk for me. I would say its a rather clean walk too, rather than parking in the streets around the arena...and I would hazard a guess that there will be a lot of cars parked there on game nights, so your car should be fine too. Its an actual municipal parking lot, well lit at night too...I recommend there as well.

It is easy to get to from the 406, coming from either way, however, I don't know the streets well enough to give you directions, sorry! (Westchester exit, I know that). You can see the lot if you are on the 406.

Ive gotten early enough to park in the arena parking 2 out of 3 games:) i just go about an hour before and watch the skate.

just remember all meter parking is free after 6:00 pm plus all the garages
