Does anyone know any word on what the game programs will be like? (hopefully a bit more pazzaz than the single piece of paper during the pre-season :p

Hopefully they'll be coming out with a lot of merchandise too. I'm specifically interested in...

- more shirts
- winter toques
- car flags
- mousepads
- coffee mugs
- blankets
- pillows
- soap
- pens
- rubiks cubes
- lighters
- pucks
- keychains
- car floormats
- watches

hehee.. that's just some of my LEAF stuff, so if they IceDogs can come anywhere close to that selection of merchandise, they'll be sitting happy financially (whereas I'll be broke)

rubics cubes?

Can't say as I've ever seen that before. Different.

I have a couple of Leafs coasters on my computer desk. I wouldn't mind changing one for an IceDogs one.

I noticed a lot of boxes in the front when I was in there too - but they were all plastic cups :D

HOPEFULLY this year they'll be releasing HOCKEY CARDS. Would *love* to get my hands on a couple sets.

Does anyone know how to go about buying OHL hockey cards? Do you have to go through the team's site to order them?

I have the license plate cover, it was the "Special Gift" for season ticket holders. It says Season Ticket Holder at the top instead of "Go Dogs Go"

I have already bought a polo/golf icedogs shirt, and will be buying probably a white icedogs jersey, they look damn sharp, in the near future.

I would love the following items, to spend my money on and "support the team", lol (in no particular order):

#1 - coasters
#2 - hockey cards
#3 - seat cushion
#4 - toques
#5 - team photograph, that I could get autographed
#6 - game worn jerseys :)
#7 - ball caps (a "custom fit" one would be, sweeeeeeeeeeeeet)
#8 - beer stein
#9 - memorial cup champions commemorative hat (I can dream, no?)
#10 - affordable glossy photos, for autographs, of the players.

Sounds like a good list, santa, I've been a very good boy :)

Havent heard anything about the game day program, but I do know that once the roster is set there will be an IceDogs yearbook. I am sure that there will be team pics and individual pics available soon as well.

I second, third and fourth the motion asking for logo seat cushions!

The OHL has a monthly magazine... the roster lineups for the game will be located in the middle... everymonth the magazine will be different... with some or something different on the cover...

The magazine is all about the NHl and CHL...

the program was nice. did anyone notice that the mayor of welland had a letter in there? i thought that was cool and made it more like this is the NIAGARA IceDogs

Actually, it wasnt really a program. They were yearbooks (unless I purchased the wrong one lol). I would imagine the program that was spoken about will be available Sunday.

The mayor seems to be genuinely enthusiastic about the Dogs. He had a lot of nice things to say at the Gatorade sign unveiling. But then again, he could have been in "politician mode" lol

Yah I think it would be hard to issue a booklet like the home-opener one every game.

As for the Welland mayor - yah they have to make all of Niagaraians (??) feel like this is their team if it's going to stay successfull. That way you're pulling from a possible fan base of 400,000 people instead of 130,000.

That is going to be a key to the success of the Dogs in Niagara.
