Hi all, I was just wondering where you get those long plastic horns. I've been looking all over St. Kitts and the Falls with no luck. I see lots of people with them, so they must be coming from somewhere. I need it for Barrie on the 29th. Thanks

Ya good luck with that, I don't think you'll be finding them at any dollar store to tell you the truth but best of luck anyway. There isn't relly all that many at the barn either and I think only one guy knows how to use it. lol

Don't listen to swifty guys/gals - he just doesn't want competition to his huge black boomer horn. ;) (it has made people in front of him CRY in the past - and I'm not joking)

I got my extend-a-horn at the Kingston arena a few years back. I have the smaller one that I prefer (if anyone's seen me at games you'll know which one I mean) at the Guelph Storm souvenir shop.

Ha ha, AD you have been witness to some beauty times my friend. Slats go to www.cheeringstuff.com, but I think you should buy one for every person in your section because its like $20 bones a horn, or 20 horns for like $35.00 bones. Up to you but I got mine in Missy because there are absoloutly none around our parts. LOL AD that one trip to the bunker was priceless eh.:headbanger:
I think that snotty kid and her hurtn mom are wearing aids now!!lol, play with the big dawgs you get the HORN.

Horns don't belong at a hockey game. Clap your hands or heckle.
The ones are the dollarstore are really cheap plastic and they dont slide down.
Spend the extra money and get them off that website.

HECKLE!! Yes! Thank you! (for not using the term 'chirp' like a bird) :hurray: :p
Although.. I do agree that those long horns arent really a rallying type sound. Kinda more like a slow-dying cow.

I agree you have to heckle. But in someone else's barn, you have to have some kind of noise.

oh the swifty boomer horn. i borrowed that last year in oshawa and after about 5 minutes my lungs were done. it is ridiculously loud tho.
Hey, the 20 horns for $35 deal on cheering stuff....if we can get a bunch of people i will definately pitch in on that deal. although i'd rather not be the one using the card:P
even if someone wants to go in with me for 10, i'll spend $13 and give them out to the 9 people nearest me that look like they have decent lungs.

anyone else in?
also i believe last season we looked at the site as well. the prices per horn go down the more you buy, and if you order over 800, they are free, all you do is pay $5.25 for shipping. You can pay via paypal as well.
So if anyone has a paypal account, i will gladly throw you $6 at a game to try it out.
if its an error, big deal, i'm out $6. If not, it'll be stupid loud.
id pitch in on that
:iagree:
im down for that, defs pitch on that lol

800 of those suckers, Where would I put them?? Im pretty sure im going to order some. If we can get at least 40, they will be $2.75. Shipping is only $6.00 or something like that. So they would be about $3.00 each. You guys think there would be enough interest?

Where are you guys ordering from? Lemme have the URL. I might get a batch, find a place to put GO DOGS GO stickers on 'em, and sell 'em through the site. Or if anyone else with Paypal wants to sell them through here, I'll make up a page.

I have a paypal account. Give me the URL and I will order. I will hand them out for free to eveyone on this site. 6 bucks, I'll do it. Paypal is very safe and secure, so I have no problem in doing it. Let me know. Free Horns for Everyone.

the good ones are the collapsable powerhorns.
As i stated before, i will definately pitch in.
i know this website is not a scam, as they sell the powerhorns at the hershey centre, and they have the www.cheeringstuff.com logo on them.

I still like the Black Cheering Horn (or any other colour), and I think that's the version that I have right now. Great for basketball and any other indoor sports as well. I'd get a couple of those, and/or one powerhorn.

Lets do it. I will place the order tomorrow, or maybe tonight. Free horns for everybody. We need that arena to be loud. Lately it seems the Jack has been a little too quiet. Off to the game now, hopefully its noisy in there.

'Not sure why this topic wasn't moved to off-topic. 'Moved it now.
just so you guys know (for those who are planning on ordering the 800 for free and only pay shipping).
800 horns is going to take up a considerable amount of space and weight. I'd expect anywhere from $200 to upwards of $500 for shipping/handling. But hey if you guys are doing it, that's awesome!

I just can't figure out how this company would make money by giving them away for absolutely free (plus shipping). Read the fine print before you order.

it's true...800 is probably a bit excessive. But still, even if someone were to order 40 or something, i will definately pitch on it. It's too bad we didn't arranget his prior to the Canada Russia game. But yeah, someone with paypal look into it.

Okay, I went to the site finally. It isn't 6.00 bucks to ship. There is actually a little note in fine print at the end that says this is an estimate for shipping. Shipping can be more. I have a thought though. I don't mind doing it with my paypal if people want to kick in. The black collapsible sells for 2.75 each plus shipping on a order of 40. If theres enough interest I'll place the order and get them shipped to my work. Don't mind fronting with my paypal. However just 6.00 for shipping is too good to be true.

I'll buy a couple. Like 5 or so. tell me once you have them ordered and i'll throw you the cash. I'm sure there'll be more people on here that will want them, plus i don't mind helping you sell them before a game for $5 or whatever.

Ok, thread locked until someone PMs me saying the ORDERED THE DARN THINGS - so far it's been all talk. Someone either order or forget the idea, but lets stop just 'plannning' buying them. It's a one-step process. PM me (whoever) when it's been ordered and I"ll unlock this thread :P
