Anyone know why the icedogs don't have the crossed dog bones as shoulder patches on their game jerseys but the replica jerseys you can buy do?

Talking with Bill Burke yesterday before the game, he told me that the white sweaters came without the crossed bones but the black ones were delivered with the crossed bones. He said that the white sweaters will have the crossed bones put on them as soon as they can. Reading between the lines, I think it was a RBK issue.

I believe he also said that the sweaters were missing either and "opening night" or "inaugural season" patch.... not sure what the wording was. Suffice it to say, the sweaters were not completely finished.

Also... What did everyone think of the red warm up sweaters?? Personally, I loved them. I hope they will offer them for sale as well. They looked very professional out there. Warming up in one sweater then switching to the game sweater was completely unexpected.

I seem to recall the Rangers using warm up sweaters in Kitchener as well, but seeing the IceDogs in their warm ups was an unexpected surprise.

Yes they are really pros now, that is the OHL.

The jerseys will be up for silent auction some time during the season or at the end of the season. This includes game worn and practice worn.

At the St. Patrick's day game two seasons ago the team came out in green, it was very cool. After the game they held a silent auction for them. If you look on the IceDogs site and click on Loverock you will see him wearing one.

There will also be a silent auction for last years white jersey coming at a game soon.

Don't worry like I have said the jersey are pro jersey, unlike the fan purchase jerseys.

yep I can recall seeing the rangers wearing warmup jerseys this past season, red too....

I absosmurfley LOVED those red warmup jerseys the dogs wore, I would definitely buy one of those if they were available.

I just saw these on another message board. This jersey was created before the team moved but knew they were coming to Niagara, a fan had drawn up these jerseys as possible new ones. Personally, I think they are hideous! lol

I hope they can keep stocking up whenever they sell out of em.
They are a hot piece of merchandise.
Though I am happy with my purchase tonight.
A trucker style Dogs hat.

I inquired tonite about the Jerseys in the arena store that have the players names on them and I was told that they are old jerseys that will be auctioned off, but she didn't know when.:rolleyes:

I was told there were sweaters in the IceDogs store, but I did not personally confirm this. A woman sitting in the row in front of me said there were in stock but after I gave this info to IceDogsRule I thought she may have confused the kids sweaters with the adult sweaters.

I purchased my jersey today at Front Row Sports in Thorold. I got the last black adult large (according to the salespeople), but there are plenty of the other adult sizes in black, as well as everything in white.

Also I recommended which way to do the auction I hate loosing at an auction by some guy who bids a buck more than me when the price is up in the 100's.
The Jerseys I want won't be auctioned till next year.
But I do have a nice collection.
Lot of original 6 NHL, Lot of OHL game worn jerseys, And The one and only Adam West Famliy Guy jersey.
Oh yeah Couple of game worn TeePee's jerseys from the late 50's early 60's.
And one I really like Quebec Nordiques draft day jersey #88 one of 2 made.
I think that was in Buffalo but while he was good in OHL, he was not ready for the NHL.
One of the best players I had seen , went to Oshawa a lot thats when OHL was lacking to a point in the area.
