Use either Media Player Classic or VLC Media Player, and be sure to get the K-Lite codec pack, a package of almost all codecs to play most types of video files.

Thanks Boner (for helping him out).

Also make sure you have MediaPlayer set up to automatically download codecs when needed.

I test all the files on the latest MediaPlayer (version 11) to make sure they're ok before uploading.

VLC will play pretty much anything you throw at it.

I jsut downloaded and installed media player classic... but now i get this everytime i open windows explorer...

OK, you shouldn't need to install MP Classic for any videos on here - you just need the latest video codecs.

I would uninstall Media Player Classic then try IE again. I'm guessing IE still works for you since you can read/post msgs here. Just do a Google search for +codecs +mpeg
