Which Young Player Do You Want To See Make The Cut?

Which young player/players do you want to see make the cut the most.

I would really like to see the following make the cut, or at least get a chance to play a decent amount of games:

Jay Harrison
Ben Ondrus
Kris Newbury
Simon Gamache

I think the new guys coming up and being developed are half decent. Sure we don't have any superstars but who we have seem reliable.

I want to see the 4th line of Ondrus-Newbury-Belak again sometime this year. Guaranteed some big hits and fights every game:D

That line is much too lackluster defensively.

That line can play really good at both actually. I dont know if you remember the game on January 1, 2007 this year, but I was at that game and they played really well. Belak even helped Newbury get his first goal. Plus the defenceman was Chara.

For I want to see newbury make the team, pure heart and soul player, he wont be able to scrap any heavyweights, mainly the smaller guys but he will add alot of energy and heart to the team, not to mention add some "sandpaper" to the team, something we've been missing since the departure of guys like Roberts, Thomas, Corson, Marchment, Yushkevich, Svehla, etc.

With the real young guns, Tlusty and Stralman, from me watching the pre season, Tlusty isnt ready yet, let him play in the marlies, or let him dominate for the Soo. Stralman looked good, and if he makes the team we will have to get rid of Ian White, because we already have 4 offensive d-men, we need another stay at home defender, eith Kronwall or Harrison, I hate Woz and really don't think he's that good, Harrison is a long shot, but he's tough and i like that.

I agree with you on the most part, but I don't think Tlusty is 100% ready to play in the big leagues. I would give him one more year, in my opinion. But who knows, I could be totally wrong, he could come up and have a great year.
