Meantime, it's good to see former Mississauga IceDogs forward Jordan Owens has now signed an NHL contract with the New York Rangers. He spent the past two seasons with the team's AHL affiliate in Hartford. He will now get the benefits of an NHL deal, even if he does spend a decent amount of time back in Hartford next season. The Toronto product scored 153 points in 192 games as a member of the IceDogs.
