Hey anyone catch the game against the 67's tonite, great game Loverock was great. i saw the webcast, didnt like the hit by Fletcher elbow to the head, probably going to get suspended i would think. Cant wait to go to the game sunday, i heard Corrente will be back. Can anybody tell me why we cant get some kind of banner hung up in this town promoting the dogs. Possibly on an overpass coming into town or somewhere on a major street or somewhere else. They do it for ribfests or wine fest how expensive could that be? lets promote the damn team being here, for those dumb dumbs that possibly dont know about them yet. Just finished watching the tape delay on ch 10...what a game. I agree with you about the Fletcher hit. Probably will be getting a couple of games I would think. I hope not though.

I heard on the pregame show, as I'm sure some of you heard, that the devils wanted to take a good long hard look at corrente, since he was a first round pick, and they like what they see, and are confident he will be an NHLer some day, however, the play by play guy says expect to see corrente in the dogs' lineup sunday.

from the talk im seeing on a new jersey devils message board it sounds like they might keep Corrente around for his max number of games then send him back to junior, if thats what they end up doing.... oh well, it sure wouldnt be a bad thing for him to comeback but good for him the longer hes up in the bigs.

I just checked www.waymoresports.com (http://www.waymoresports.com), for the hockey movements, and, I don't see the Devils haven't sent Corrente back yet, so, contrary to what they were reporting on the radio on friday night, I don't see him playing this afternoon. :(

I, too, have been scouring the wires to see if the Devils have made the move, but havent found anything. Having said that, Schiestel played in our home opener but the wires didnt report Buffalo returning him til the following Monday. Because of that, I would imagine there is (sometimes) a lag in reporting so there is a chance that Corrente will be playing today. I hope he is back!
