Reading some of the other posts and seeing people talk about the ups and downs of a season I remember hearing an NHL coach (can't remember who) talk about breaking down his season in ten game segments. He said if you could get seven wins or more in each segment you'd be a contender, six wins and your a solid playoff team, five wins and you should get into the post season.
So with that in mind here's how I see the Dogs next ten.

vs Majors - Dogs should take this one
vs Spirit - Saginaw is a decent team but at home Niagara should win
@[NO EMAIL POSTING ALLOWED] Brampton - the first of back to back, a sweep would be great but tough.
I'd like to see the Dogs make up for the earlier loss but I
think that will happen at home.
vs Brampton - Dogs take this one and earn a split.
@[NO EMAIL POSTING ALLOWED] Sudbury - Niagara is simply a better hockey team. (warning Wolves
home opener in renovated building, if they are winless at this
point it could be an upset)
vs Guelph - a good team but I'll take the Dogs at home
vs London - Knight s are struggling early but I don't see that happening
much longer. I'd take London.
@[NO EMAIL POSTING ALLOWED] Barrie - A close one but Niagara wins
vs Barrie - Niagara takes both in the home and home
@[NO EMAIL POSTING ALLOWED] Windsor - Spits are very good and at home - take Windsor.

That would be 7-3 in the next ten. A great record that should keep them near the top of the conference, and make the division a two horse race early in the season.
The worst I see the next ten is 6 wins. If the team really plays well they could take the next 9.

I would say your analysis is right on. I too would like to see a sweep of Brampton but realistically we should be happy with 2 or 3 points out of those 4. As for the London game (Oct 18th), yes they are struggling right now and no I dont expect that trend to continue... having said that, I think the Dogs can and will take them. Look for Foreman to have a big game.

Bottom line, I'll take 7-3 any day.
