Please explain to me as I do not understand. Matt was playing for Portland and was recalled to Lowell. Lowell is affiliated with the Devils. Who is Portland affiliated with. How can you be recalled from one AHL team to another or was he on loan to Portland.

Corrente has been playing with NJ/Lowell since he left Niagara. Portland Pirates are the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. Drew Schiestel is presently playing for Portland.

Sorry your'e right, but I'm still confused. What does recalled from loan by New Jersey mean. Has he been called up to the NHL. Thanks for straightening my confusion out.:weird:
JUst read a new thread "Corrente called up" it says he has been called up to NHL. Thanks again.

Corrente will play on defense Wednesday against Ottawa after playing forward in his NHL debut last Saturday, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

no stats on him he had zeros all across except for his ice time... all i saw was his back in a tsn highlight.. but andrew peters probably had many people cheering when he injured chris neil that game..
