Caputi in NHL

Congrat to Caputi on being called up by the slumping Pens and scoreing his second career NHL goal on the fading Thrashers

way to go Luca, congrats, he will be an NHLer some day, third liner perhaps, likely not with the very deep Pens though...saw it on the ticker that he was recalled tonight...good forhim, I enjoyed watching him in Niagara...I think we all didnt realize at the time what a treat it was to watch that team in the first year....it is not often in a small market like Niagara where you will see a loaded roster like the dogs had in year 1.

Kunitz is out, so they recalled him... it wasnt because of a slump. it was because of injury

As a Flyers fan, I watched the Flyers dominate the Pens, and Caputi was in the lineup. He did get called for a questionable penalty on the Pens first PP of the game, where Caputi was on the #1 PP...I think if he had been around a couple of years he probably would not have gotten that call.

Anyways, gotta say, Luca looked really good, and I think he's gonna stick in the NHL sooner rather than later. He played an awful lot with Crosby and or Malkin...when the 'two headed monster' was out (Crosby and Malkin on the same line) Luca often was with them. He used his size well, created a couple of chances, and did a great job finishing checks....

Way to go Luca, and, the score was great, 7-4 Flyers.
