Dahm keep fit in Rødovre
Sebastian Dahm left in Rødovre, where he trains with Mighty Bulls to keep in shape. The goalkeeper, who played in a sea of North American leagues, is not considered for a spot in the cage in Rødovre.
- I want to emphasize right away that I'm not here to compete with the current goalies. I'm on business, and am really happy to keep me in shape with Mighty Bulls until I hopefully get a contract or a try-out at a club here in Europe, "says Dahm for Rødovre Local News.
Original Article ............and if anyone can translate better.......

Dahm aimed against Germany or SverigeDen former Danish national team goalie Sebastian Dahm seeks a contract in either the top German league DEL or the second best Swedish league, Allsvenskan, but coach preliminary with Rødovre.
Dahm has played five years in North America, but this year there was no opportunity to get a contract at the level he was looking at the other side of the Atlantic. He has trained with the respected goalkeeping coach Michael Lawrence from ProGoaltending, who has also worked with Washington Capitals' young goalkeeper Michael Neuvirth.
- I've been in the U.S. and prepare myself for six weeks up to the season but there was nothing that was interesting over there. If I had something something over there, then it should be two-way contract with AHL that I've had before, "says Dahm to tv2sport.dk.
Therefore we went back to Europe where he is now looking for an agent with a torch. And the beam is directed primarily towards Allsvenskan and PART.
- I must find a place where they lack a goalie acute. Right now we work with Sweden and Germany. It would be really good if I can find an opportunity in the Allsvenskan. It is a good league with good opportunities, as you can see with Patrick Galbraith (plays for Leksand, ed).
That does not make Dahm skates away completely if it fails to find anything in the two leagues.
- I go for a team in the DEL or Allsvenskan, but I'm also willing to go down one level. It is just inland of the season, and it is a difficult time finding a club on. I'm looking at the offers are, and we'll see. Will there be an offer from Switzerland or Austria, I look surely seriously at it, "says Dahm.
Dahm would obviously prefer to have played in the AHL, or he would not take season preparation, as he did, but when he refuses to play in the lower leagues in North America to the advantage of playing in Europe so it is also very much for the chance on the national team again.
- I want to be a part of the Danish national team and the progress is. The development opportunities it has given players like Patrick Galbraith, Fred Anderson, Stefan Lassen and Julian Jakobsen, I would also like to be a part of, "says Dahm.
Collaboration with goalkeeper coach Michael Lawrence Dahm would like to continue also next season, but if he at that time continue to invest in Europe, he will next year go to the U.S. earlier this summer and prepare. He will not waste the effort to fret that he was over there so late this year.
- Of course it would have been better to have been in Europe since the start of the season, now that I did not get the contract over there. But now I've been in North America for five years so I think I'd give it one last chance. So instead of annoy me, so I welcome the preparation that I've been over there for six weeks with a fantastic goalkeeper coach.
Dahm believes that there may come a new contract in place within one week if an immediate debate falls into place, but should it go badly wrong with the hunt club abroad, then Rødovre might also be considered.
- As it looks now, then Rødovre their goalies. I have great respect for the work Rødovre do, but first and foremost, I look outward. My heart is in Rødovre, so it is not in any way such that I will never be back again, "says Dahm and explains further:
- Nor do I think it would be fair if I come in here when Rødovre has two young goalies, and then just slips when it does not fit me anymore. But I am grateful to the opportunity to train with, "says Dahm.
Rødovre coach Magnus Sundquist certainly would not reject Dahm, if one day he comes and asks if he will play the rest of the season in Rødovre.
- I would not refuse, but I know it is not topical. Sebastian would like to go out again but he should come to us, so we look at things since, says Sundquist.
Roedovre Martin Estoft and Lasse Jensen as his two keepers at the moment. Estoft've had a couple of different injuries in the last two games (the spine and a sty in his eye), but is ready for battle again.
Rødovre has also Jonas Sass out with an injury at the moment but we are moving forward and Sundquist hopes to get the 17-year forward back within a month.
