Please don't let it be the one in welland, that one is riddled with incompetent buffoonery and broken cheese graders. I'd be game if it were one of the ones in the falls or St. Kitts.

It's at the one on Ontario Street.

Agreed!

Mind you, a "Shoeless Joes" is being constructed on Niagara St. in Welland, and I am hoping that it will be a good hangout to watch and hangout in a sports atmosphere.

Fletcher should be there in attendance to keep people from NOT doing that.

I was thinking the same thing.

Maybe we should bring boxes wrapped in Christmas paper next time Brampton is at the Jack and when Fletch and Christmas go at it, we throw the "presents" onto the ice!

Haha, that's one thing I probably would NOT do. I'll do pretty much anything being mean to an opposing player, but the poor guys can't do anything about their names. He's probably been bugged about it his entire childhood. LIke after Fletch pounds him you could say "How MERRY are you NOW Christmas!!" but I"d feel sorry for him (a bit). ;)

Hmmm, smells like a forced cross promotional deal to me. If they wanted to truly be a part of Niagara they would of selected an independently owned place like Bugsy's or Wrigleys not the "Burger King." Shame on them!

Maybe so, but Boston Pizza stepped up to the plate and paid money to sponsor the team. I dont see the names of either of those two places you mentioned on the ice at the Jack.

Aren't we all the worst fans ever :( A chance to go out for supper AND meet some of the team, and nobody took advantage of it. Oh well, I guess that's the difference between here and Kitchener - you look at when there players go out to do stuff, the city shows up in SWARMS to see the guys.

Then again, besides the board here, how else was anyone supposed to know about it? I did see any mention of it in the newspaper.

All Boston Pizza's are independently owned. I know the owner at the Pen Centre location (Ron) and he is a huge Ice Dog supporter!

My mistake, I was always under the impression that Boston Pizza sold the franchise to management companies that would be responsible for the operation of anywhere from 5 or 6 outlets in an area.
