IN case you missed the live broadcast, today's game is being re-shown at 9PM on ch.10 Cogeco tonight.

Which is great for me because I set up my dvd recorder to record the live broadcast, but my dumb ass set it to start at 2PM and end at 3PM (I had *3* (hours) in my head, and hit 3pm end recording). So I have a nice full DVD of one hour of the game :p So I'll re-record it at 9 and get the highlights from that.

Yeah, I know. Hopefully wont be missing anymore games the rest of the season.

At least you went home happy and de-stressed!

After being up late saturday in Toronto and the long day yesterday, I passed out before the game started at 9. I believe it will air again, I hope so anyway.

Cheers

Where do you get TiVO from??

Just local cable provider?? or is it an aftermarket thing??

TIVO is aftermarket and I'm not sure if it works with Cogeco cable.

What you need is a Cogeco/Motorola DVR box. You just go to your on-screen TV guide, hit record, then hit record again and select "Series Recording" and it will record automatically every time it comes on.

The DVR boxes also have 2 tuners in them so you can record 2 channels at once, or record on 1, watch another, etc... They're like 600 bucks though  But I don't know how I made due without one before.

I didn't buy it - I lease it for 20 bucks a month or whatever it is. By the time the lease equals the cost of it, it'll probably be obsolete anyway. Although... I've leased it almost 600 bucks worth so they better come out with a new model soon, otherwise I'll be wishing I bought it.

I'll have to check in to TiVo's and see if they work with Cogeco. Although I doubt it, because you still need your cable box to be on the right channel, so you'd still have to set up 2 boxes to record.

that's not too bad for $20 a month....maybe a good investment....just think if it breaks... you get a new one... the joys of renting....
