I'm trying to decide what away games I'll be able to get out to this year... so far...

Barrie
Brampton
Mississauga
Guelph (St.Kitts > Guelph isn't actually that bad a drive)
Kitchener
London

the odd game in Oshawa and hopefully Erie (just take the 90 from Buffalo)

London means the 401 which kinda sucks getting there, but traffic shouldn't be bad coming home. I used to go through Oshawa all the time on my way to Peterborough (used to have a girlfriend up that way). Oshawa is just QEW > 407 > Brock Rd > 401 although you can continue down Hwy7/Westchester and stay off the 401.

Peterborough actually has a really nice arena. It's very modern and reminded me of Maple Leaf Gardens inside, the way the one wall went up and back. Hopefully I'll get up there for a game or two on good-weather days (QEW to 407 to 401/Hwy7 to 115 to Peterborough) It's actually a nice drive if you do it during the day and at the end of the 407 just KEEP GOING straight all the way to the 115.

The only games out of reach this year look to be Sudbury, Sault, Sarnia, Windsor, Saginaw, Plymoth, Ottawa, Kingston, Owen Sound simply due to distance.

But any away games on a Saturday I'd love to get out to most of the other cities to see what their venues are like.

I will definatly head up to Missy, especially the first time the IceDogs make their return. Brampton, Guelph, are real possibilities, but London is a little far and good luck getting a ticket in Kitchener. I want to go to Kitchener for the weekend with wifey, I think I will be searching ebay for some Ranger/IceDog duckets.

Why is that? Do Kitch. tickets sell out fast?

From what I understand they have about 7000 seat and about 6000 season ticket holders. I have been to the Kitchener Aud a few times before the renovations, it is or was a junior version of Maple Leaf Gardens. It was and maybe still is the best place to watch a game.

I know they are adding approx 400 new seats this year, and that not all season ticket holders get memeorial cup tickets because after the league and sponsers get theirs there isn't enough left for every season ticket holder.
