Well...wouldn't we all like to have a London or Kitchener scenario where there's a waiting list for seasons tickets and full buildings no matter who they're playing or whatever night it is. They are in the minority in this league.
Who knows why people come out or stay home.
Advance tickets for this game were weak. Maybe it's a Thursday thing? Maybe it's too many home games crammed into this month? I dunno.
What would this game have drawn at the Jack? Judging by the actual attendance it would've been a sellout...or would it? Would even less people have come out?
As far as I'm concerned as long as our attendance doesn't drop below 3000 on a regular basis we shouldn't worry too much.

You want to analyze something...how about this.
Last Thursday in Windsor they played Ottawa and had 5500 at the game. On Sunday they played Sarnia and had over 6000. Last night they played the Soo...the top team in the west...and had 4800.
This is a team fighting for their playoff lives. How do you explain that drop off?

I know Plymouth is moving next season but for a big game in the playoff race they only drew 1,300 and change for their game only the Petes drew above their season average last night .

They didn't want to watch their team get slaughtered?

Keep in mind to take in every home game in the month of March will cost at least 200$ other than STH's I don't see how the over price ticket has anything to do with it... even at 20$ ticket it would still be a heavy cost... Unfortunately our attendance will suffer this month because there are just too many home games compared to a usual season.

Plus some bad teams coming in March and everything is clinched mind you the Erie game is sold out.

I would like the OHL to re align the divisions should have been done when Brampton moved to North Bay.

A big game like this and being undefeated in regulation time in 2015, it should be a sell-out
NOTE TO BURKE'S: must be the hefty ticket prices, that are keeping people at home!!!
I can't think of any other reason to not come and watch some very entertaining hockey and the dogs on a roll!!!!

I'd still like to see the Burke and Meridian boxes filled each night. Most games the Meridian box has 8-10 people whereas the Burke box has 2-4 :(

Most times it is just the Burkes and I don't know I look across from them they don't seem as animated as they used to be. And, why are they ALWAYS sitting in the dark!?

If I were the owner, given the increased attendance and the performance of the team thusfar - I'd be grinning from ear to ear and have that box filled every night. If I didn't have enough friends or family I'd be tapping STH to move up and charities to take their places. I wonder if they had more fun in the crowd and regret buying the box?
