Halfway Point

Now that the IceDogs have reached the "traditional" halfway poin of the season it is time to cast your ballot. The debate as to "should they" go for it has been resolved with the acquisition of Jason Robertson. There have been other trades and will probably be at least one more.
Let's hear from the Niagara fans now, do the IceDogs have enough to make it!

I could see 1 of the 4 happening or 3 of 4 happening honestly

Could only vote for 1 so I took the thing I was most confident in without seeing what everyone does at/before the deadline

I picked Division winners because I don't see them getting out of the East against Ottawa this year. If that doesn't happen, it will take an industrial sized spatula to get all of the egg off of the organization's face. I hope they at least get a cup out of the effort but I have a nagging fear they won't.

I don't think Ottawa has an old enough core group to last through the playoffs. By the time they face us they will be beat down. I don't think we have the coaching to get us out of the OHL though.

To have made such a bold prediction and then lose would usually mean the owner would fire the GM or the GM would fire the HC. Since they are all the same family does that mean a franchise sale or do they come back the next year and face the music?

I fully expect Ottawa to collapse early in the playoffs. Just because that seems to happen on occasion to the best team in the league. A result of over confidence.

I think they’ll start to collapse before the seasons over but stay at the top because of the gap

If they win they’ll be happy if they lose nothing changes just like every team that goes for it and falls short
