Player Injury Update

Just saw on Twitter that the Niagara Ice Dogs have given an update on injured players. I’m not sure how to put the link here so if someone could do it that would be great. We have more players hurt then I thought.

Thank you dogs777. Everybody says this team never gives update well there you have one.

I hope week to week doesn't mean the same as last year.

Everyone says it because they never do. First time for everything.

Now can they put out the line-up without the stupid emojis and nicknames on Twitter?

Better than what we normally get - nothing! However, Guelph Storm injury reports is what they should aspire to.

Jan 18. Ultrasound confirmed Nico Daws has an oblique strain. Will rest a couple of more days, team hopes he will practice late in the week and be ready to go next weekend.

Last year, “week to week” meant “week to week to week to week to week ...”

Pretty much reads...

Top

None of your business

Yes, that is EXACTLY what they should be aspiring to... For those of us with a 'medical bent' to our edumacation, that makes it easier to understand what the injury is. And tells us how big of a grain of salt we need to take for 'week to week' injuries.

Just because your organization is minor league, doesn't mean you have to treat it like a minor league organization. Fans WANT to empathize with these boys. And the boys WILL talk, and tell people what the injury is. So it usually gets out anyway... Just seems silly, you have a social media person, let them actually post things. Engage your fan base. Make us invested in the product.

I second the ending of the emojis and nicknames on the IceDogs Twitter account. Many times I have no idea who they are referring to.
