Not to be a party pooper, but, do most of our members believe that there will be for real hockey games with 3500 fans at the Meridian Centre for an early October game?

I don't even think the first game will be in October. They said Fall, that can be right into December.

I don?t see substantial crowds at the arena a vaccine is developed and distributed

I don?t see how the OHL can even operate with three US teams .... we have really flattened the curve in Ontario but in the USA it?s still quite bad.

Nevermind the difficulty in crossing the (still closed) border ... if I was a parent I?d have a hard time sending my kid to those US based teams without a vaccine ...

I noticed the press release mentioned a new streaming provider for all 3 junior leagues. Hopefully it is this same one used by the AHL. My friend subscribed to it last year. I believe he paid $99 US for access to every game and the quality was near HD even on a 60” television.

I agree. Canadian University already cancelled their Fall sports leagues. It’s a long way from allowing use of a patio with social distancing to allowing 5000 people to sit shoulder to shoulder for 3 hours.
