Default Questions the Media Should Ask

I think most people agree our local media is pretty soft on the OHL. What would you ask the Ice Dogs if you had your own radio broadcast, cable TV show or newspaper column. Maybe one of the lurking media types will put on their big boy pants and ask it on your behalf...

It's not just our media that can be soft it's everyone around the league and you could ask but doesn't mean it'll be answered

I think there was a guy in Windsor who used to call out the Spits and the league, but I can't remember his name. Rod Mawhood's show GAME ON on CKTB was pretty good. I remember either Mike Keenan or some other NHL coach calling Rod "the Wayne Gretzky of interviewers."

Rod seemed to and still does ask the fair but tough questions when he interviews players and writes for the Standard. My friend is a billet and used to tell me the players all liked talking and dealing with Rod.

Most local media are in some way affiliated with the team so it's likely tough to dig too deep into things.

Rod is a gentleman and even when he asks a tough question he does so from that perspective. More journalists should strive for that level of credibility!

Rod was never really was too hard on the players but also wouldn't rave about guys that clearly weren't playing well. Not sure what happened with his show but it was really quite good.

I can't remember the reason but Rod and 610 parted ways, thus ending his show.
