Game Thread Niagara IceDogs @ Peterborough Petes - Monday, 2018.02.19 - 2:05pm

Going forward in reverse.

Niagara IceDogs:
4th in the East after 55 games with 60 points, 26-21-5-3 or 0.545%
Scoring: Miletic 28-48, Thomas 16-48, Jones 18-43
Goalie: Incze 17GP, 2.71GAA(-), 0.918%(-)
Goalie: Dhillon 44GP, 3.40GAA(16th), 0.897%(15th)

Peterborough Petes:
9th in the East after 56 games with 46 points, 20-30-3-3 or 0.411%
Scoring: Korostelev 24-40, DeNoble 23-18, Der-Arguchinstev 9-28
Goalie: Wells 47GP, 3.49GAA(17th), 0.902%(9th)

Niagara is in a nine game slump and this should be a great game to break that trend. That said, the series between these two teams is tied at a game each, and predictions have a way of confounding the IceDogs lately.

Billy is out with the flu, and we lost fine without him.

Face facts, it is a family owned and run team. The only way there isn't a Burke running things is if you see a remax sign go up on the club's door. Not saying that couldn't happen someday but it won't be mid-season.

Just going to start this off with stating that this is a must win as the Petes are only 14 points behind us in the standings but, we have a game in hand. LOL
Our record for the past 10 games is 1-7-1-1
Petes record for the 10 games is 2-7-1-0

Tied for the worst record in the East..

And to make matters worst, we are making the road trip tomorrow and it looks like rain on the way there and rain on the way home..
Hmmmm.....

2 points would make the trip back a lot easier..

Last Ice Dogs Win was Sudbury January 27th. That was the night after the high of the season Sarnia home game.

That’s why I love the OHL, things can go bi-polar in a few days.

The ID’s will make another turn in the season and and on a high note and play 10 playoff games.

Made the trip with Thunderhawk a few years back. It rained the whole way up. Dogs lost 6-0, rained the whole trip home. Not the best trip ever.

Was it the rain, the loss, or the company?
