Default Keeping an Eye on Incze

Colton Incze suited up as a Spitfire tonight. Windsor lost in OT to Sarnia. Incze was back-up and did not play.

Wonder if their bench is better than ours?

Let's not forget, it's been far too long since he's seen action. I'd give him some good practices with the new goaltending coach, let him settle in, then he gets to step up to the plate and take that starting position. I am definitely cheering for him.

We play the Spits on Jan 27, and although I am an unwavering Ice Dogs nut, there will be a small part of me hoping he absolutely steals the show. We nuts can be human too, sometimes.

I still hope we beat Windsor (nuts or not). But I would like to see Incze do well there and at least redeem himself.

6 Goals on 42 shots tonight against Saginaw. Holding an .844 save percentage, 5.16 GAA since being traded. Tough go so far.

Goalies often take a while to settle in on a new team. Have patience, he'll come around. Probably just in time to make us pay for trading him... lol

Not to sound like a miserable S.O.B. but I wish Mr. Incze the best of luck with his hockey career and what he does for the rest of his life, but, I am done with him.
Once he left Niagara, he is now a Spitfire and once again, wish him weil.

...or maybe he just isn't that good afterall? Yes, I agree sometimes Dhillon needed a change and the backup should have been played more, but perhaps that is as good as Incze gets?

Always a possibility. The truth is we may never know, his development may have been stunted. Or maybe he will turn into a late bloomer in the USports ranks... I think IceDogs' habitually overplaying Dhillon is going to bite them in the swim suit area come playoff time.

Another point about Incze. He's also playing on a declining team. So he's probably not getting much support, just like here. Even though we're supposed to be an ascending team. Would have liked to see him in net with the team we end up with after the deadline. But that will not happen. Ah well. Such is life.
