Game Thread Niagara IceDogs @ Sudbury Wolves - Saturday, 2018.01.27 - 7:05pm

Sudbury Saturday Night

Niagara IceDogs:
3rd in the East after 45 games with 56 points, 25-14-4-2 or 0.622%
Scoring: Miletic 23-43, Jones 16-38, Thomas 12-41
Ghoalie: Dhillon 38GP, 3.28GAA(13th), 0.900%(13th)

Sudbury Wolves:
10th in the East after 47 games with 32 points, 13-28-6-0 or 0.340%
Scoring: Lipanov 13-21, Pilon 11-16, Candella 3-24
Goalie: McGrath 33GP, 3.95GAA(n/r), 0.888%(17th)

Feeling pretty confident after a come from behind OT win, the IceDogs should leave Sudbury with the game in the bag. Yet despite their 10th place standing, this is a team Niagara has struggled with all year. Granted most of the big bad wolves are elsewhere, Sudbury has a way of dressing up in sheep's clothing and bringing out the worst of Niagara.

I’m just hoping we don’t have a flat game after the high against Sarnia 6-3 dogs

Both remaining teams this weekend scare me...and the Battalion seem to be on fire all of a sudden...Can't afford any letdowns against either one of these teams...Go Dogs

I believe this will be their first look at Miletic in a Dog's uniform and our first tilt with them sans Pez.

Hopefully the Miletic Jones chemistry will remain combustible and blow up the Wolves tonight...Go Dogs

Gotta go to Incze tonight, like Retired J said, something is definitely still bothering Dhillon. You could see discomfort to him after numerous plays against Sarnia.

You could? I just saw the normal Dhillon with some frustration when he gave up goals that he thought he should have
